Abstract

Usability metrics plays an important part in designing a usable web site. Metrics will help designers to identify the problems associated with their web site. Development of a metric to measure overall usability of a web site is very useful in order to create better site. In this paper, a metric for evaluating of web interface is presented. It is based on three important elements, which are information content, navigation and page layout. Thus, a case study is provided to assess and validate usability metrics of web interface. As a result, the relationship between web usability elements and perceived usefulness by users is determined
