Abstract

This paper describes the CoreDev digital library project, a comprehensive digital collections management system for the construction and presentation of students’ school projects, built in-house by customizing and integrating freely available open source and scripting tools. The result is an extensible system, tailored to our local environment and requirements, with easy-to-use tools for search and retrieval, data entry and collections management, as well as a powerful and attractive user interface.
