College Of Dental Sciences and Hospital, India AbstractThe ultimate goal of periodontal therapy should not be limited to the establishment and maintenance of periodontal health. The potential for regeneration of the hard and soft periodontal tissues lost to disease should be considered. Of all the bone grafting materials being developed, the demineralized freeze dried bone allograft (DFDBA) has been used as a substitute for bone graft for more than four decades.
