Abstract

A circuit is designed for light plethysmographic measurements. The signal was interfaced to a PC via a card and analyzed by an interactive program, the IP-Coach. The forward and the reverse blood flow at a fingertip is clearly shown and a reflection coefficient was then obtained. Fourier transforms and phase diagrams were carried out to highlight features of the finger pressure pulse wave.
