Abstract

The legal framework that governs education systems in several developed nations, especially for the special needs group, has been revised and reinforced. This step is in line with society’s current demand that the rights of this group be well taken care of. This article will discuss the development of the legal framework for special education in the United Kingdom and its implications for Malaysia.
