Abstract

The latest teaching-learning approach. mLearning is known as learning through mobile computational devices (Quinn, 2000), network-based learning content (Malinen, Kari, & Tiusanen, 2003), wireless network-learning (Boerner 2002) or technology-based curriculum (Anderson, 2001). Emergence of a new pedagogical approach which promotes student-centered learning experience using technologies based on mLearning will offer opportunities, convenience, advantages and dynamic environment enabling students to succeed in their studies. This article highlights the concept and benefits of mLearning, and discusses the prospects of mLearning in the future curriculum.
