Teachers at all levels must have the skill to organize learning materials into a meaningful sequence to achieve meaningful learning among their students. Developing potentially meaningful learning materials requires teachers who can master the knowledge, be able to unpack knowledge from various sources and synthesize the knowledge into a meaningful sequence. Concept map is a tool for unpacking and sequencing knowledge in an organized way for enhancing meaning. This paper highlights the importance of training teachers to develop concept mapping skills while in teachers training centers and universities.
