Abstract

This article discusses the need of a suitable evaluation system in preschool. The scenario of development of preschool since 1950's, the method and evaluation that have been used now, and problems faced by the the preschool management will be discussed in this article. Issue on rationale of the need of more meaningful preschool evaluation is depicted in the discussion. In brief, this article highlighted the need to evaluate and measure children's development in an authentic way.
