Abstract

Moral Education in the secondary schools is a program continuing from Moral Education in the primary schools. In line with the aims of the National Education Philosophy, Moral Education is aimed at producing students of good character. This study investigated the use of real-life moral dilemmas in Moral Education. The focus of this study was to investigate what real-life dilemmas urban secondary school students are facing and what orientation they are using to solve such dilemmas. The instruments used were a questionnaire, real-life dilemmas and moral dilemma discussions.
