This article discusses an experimental research finding of using video camera to teach Malay language in a school in Selangor. It was found that video camera is an effective tool to enhance teaching and learning of Malay language in the experimental group. A sample of 104 lower secondary school students was used to test the efficacy of using video camera for enhancing communication and language skills. The study showed video camera helps them to improve their ability to make public presentations, encourages those who were weak in Malay language to participate in communication activities, and motivates them to be involved in group discussions. After receiving video feedback, the sample subjects were more confident in making presentations, cooperating in classroom activities, and improving their ability in self-assessment.
