Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain experts’ consensus on technological application for the future in teaching and learning at secondary school level. Eight experts involved in information and communications technology and educational technology were chosen as respondents. The method used for this study is Delphi technique. The study findings show that 25 technology equipment and tools are forecasted to be developed in 15 years to come and 12 items associated with the effects on technology application of teaching and learning have reached experts’ consensus. All items that represent future forecast of technological application for teachers and students have reached high experts’ consensus. The findings also indicate that technological development has a significant impact on teaching and learning thus increasing the necessity for curriculum designers in planning for future changes.
