Abstract

The emergence and rapid development in multimedia technology has resulted in higher demand in computer based learning. The technology integrates the audio, video, text, graphic and animation methodologies which generate more conducive and effective learning environment. The development of the Multimedia Courseware For Learning Tajwid using talaqqi and musyafahah approaches makes learning tajwid more interesting regardless of the constraints in the learnig process. The study points to the significance of multimedia technology in learning tajwid for it enhances the skill of lip movement and the skill of voice and written production. The courseware is found to be more suitable for learners with basic knowledge in tajwid.
