Abstract

Describes a collection of newspaper clippings from four newspapers which was started by the National Collection Division in April 1983. One of the objective was to enrich available materials on the Malay world, in line with the original concept behind the establishment of the Division. Attention therefore was given to disciplines which cover politics, socio-economic conditions, religion and customs of the Malay world. A list of subjec used for the clippings is given. Cutings in other areas which touched indirectly on the Malay world is also collected. To date 17 subject areas are covered.
