Abstract

The role of the clinical librarians and how it is being practised at several libraries in the United States and Canada are discussed. This includes the techniques of information generation and dissemination: LATCH, current services, Latest topics and Patient care related reading. The benefits of the service are discussed and guidelines on how to implement the project successfully are given.
