Abstract

This Paper reports the result of an ultra-short term cognitive behavioral psychotherapy program forpatients with panic attacks over a three weeks duration. The results indicate that although the anxietylevels were only moderately reduced, the specific symptom of panic frequency was greatly reducedand in 5 patients (35%) was completely extinguished by this therapy.
