Abstract

This article deals with the concept of security in Islam and its applications in Mecca from the perspective of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. It is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the concept of security in Islam and its applications through the Islamic call for establishing international peace. The second part deals with ways of applying peace in Mecca on the light of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. This latter part is divided into two sub-parts: the first one is related to establishing peace in Mecca according to Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. The second one discusses the social and individual ways applying peace in Mecca through the following ways: 1. Preventing of killing and fighting in Mecca. 2. The multiplication of reward and the multiplication of sins. 3. Preventing non-Muslims from entering the city. 4. Pilgrimage to Mecca and some of its provisions which help in the establishment of peace: a. preventing of hunting. b. preventing of cutting of is trees. c. Allah has protected it from Dajjal and plagues. d. Preservence of psychological peace to individuals. Then comes the summary.
