Abstract

Kertas ini membincangkan satu pendekatan bagi membangunkan satu alatan pemeriksaan nahu secara automatik bagi penulisan esei bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa kedua dalam pemprosesan bahasa tabii. Kertas ini membincangkan kaedah pemeriksaan dan pemarkahan esei yang biasa digunakan oleh pensyarah dan sistem pemeriksaan esei yang sedia ada. Seterusnya kaedah heuristik dan peraturan untuk mengesan ralat nahu dalam penulisan esei bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa kedua dibincangkan. Hasil kajian mendapati penggunaan heuristik dan peraturan dapat memperbaiki keputusan di dalam pemeriksaan nahu secara automatik bagi penulisan esei bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa kedua.
